Privacy Policy

This service has no accounts and does not collect information that could identify you. So even if this service were breached, there would be nothing to take. We hold no name, contact, or address, and anything you leave stays on this device only.

Your chosen board color stays on this device (browser storage) only. It is not sent to a server, and disappears if you clear your browser data.

  • The game runs on screen and the dice you roll are not sent anywhere. Only the score of a finished run and whether you used help can be sent to Gwirae Rank (see the ranking item below). Your progress lives only in this device's browser storage, and is cleared along with your browser data.
  • When today's run ends, its total score goes to the shared leaderboard service (ranks.gwirae.com). That service sets a cookie (rk_k) to recognize this browser. Names show only if you create an account; see that service's privacy policy for details.
  • The server only counts anonymous metrics. It keeps the date, a step name such as whether you opened the page, finished a run, or pressed share, your interface language, and a rough referral label for where you came from. It does not record which dice you rolled.
  • This game may show Google AdSense ads below the content to cover running costs. When it does, Google may use a cookie or an ad identifier for that ad, subject to Google's own policy. Your game progress itself is still never sent to a server.

Retention and deletion

Progress saved on your device disappears when you clear your browser data. The anonymous metrics the server counts contain nothing that could be traced back to an individual.

This site is served through Cloudflare, which automatically injects a visit-tracking script into our pages. We did not add it ourselves, so we've set up our site to block it in your browser, and that tracking does not go out. The tag itself is still inserted by the layer in front of us, though, so we think it's worth telling you. The address of this app sets no cookies. If you post a score to the leaderboard, the leaderboard service (ranks.gwirae.com) sets two cookies (rk_k and rk_s) to recognize your device.
