Yacht Roguelike guide
Roll five dice to build a hand and clear the stage target with that score. Where you stop and what you keep matters more than luck.
How one round runs
A round starts by rolling five dice. Tap a die to keep it in place; the rest reroll. You can reroll up to twice per round.
Confirm scores the best hand currently showing and moves you to the next round. Each stage gives you three plays, so you need to hit the target score within those three.
Hands and scores
If more than one hand matches, only the highest one counts.
| Hand | What it takes | Score |
|---|---|---|
| Yacht | All five dice show the same face | 12 |
| Large Straight | All five faces run in sequence | 8 |
| Four of a Kind | Four dice show the same face | 7 |
| Full House | Three of one face and two of another | 6 |
| Small Straight | Four faces run in sequence | 5 |
| Three of a Kind | Three dice show the same face | 3 |
| Two Pair | Two separate pairs | 2 |
| One Pair | Two dice show the same face | 1 |
| Chance | Nothing else matched | 0 |
A straight can start from 1 or from 2. All five in sequence makes a Large Straight; four in sequence makes a Small Straight.
The target rises every stage
There are eight stages. The target starts at 2 points and rises by 2 each stage, reaching 16 at the final eighth stage. Clearing a stage resets your stage score to 0 and refills your plays to three.
If you use all three plays without hitting the target, the run ends there. In later stages a single Pair won't be enough, so it pays to chase a Triple or better and reroll for it.
Relics multiply, they don't add
Clearing a stage earns a relic. A Double Charm doubles your score, a Triple Charm triples it. Multiple relics multiply together, so the same hand scores much more later in a run.
Because it multiplies rather than adds, even a low hand becomes worth taking once a multiplier is stacked. Early on with no relics yet, raising the hand itself is the only lever you have.
The dice are fixed for the day
The roll sequence is derived from the date, so everyone who plays on the same day gets the same dice in the same order. You can't redo yesterday's rolls, but you can compare how far you got with others who played the same day.
When a run ends you can copy your result to share. The rolls are worked out in your browser, the score of a finished run can be sent to Gwirae Rank, and nothing involves betting or money.
